Recently, a lecturer at CUHK received some rude comments on her teaching evaluation form. It's really saddening to see such happenings. We used to be very respectful to our teachers, not out of fear, but because that is the right thing to do. Has society changed so much that 'respect' has turned into complete nonsense? Is 'freedom of speech' a replacement or is it overrated?
