‘Desire is the key to accomplishment. Desire to learn must be instilled in each of our students as the foundation for efficient education.’ I read these two sentences in a book about children psychology and the message has been in my mind ever since. I believe that motivation is crucial to effective learning while boredom is a barrier to it. In my classroom, students are encouraged to speak their minds, work together and create.

Students in Hong Kong bear great pressure to achieve academic excellence. I believe a stress-free and motivating learning environment is what students in Hong Kong need most. Learning is a life-long process. I aspire to showing children how big this world is in my lessons, instead of strangling their curiosity.
